Potential for Growth
It is projected that within the next year of existence the business will add its repairs department, increase its production line by adding simple electronic appliance, which will increase its staff complements. Hopefully a new branch will be opened to facilitate persons outside the Kingston and St. Catherine surroundings.
These projections was based on the feedback received from persons who welcome the perspective of having their own manufacturing business in near proximity to have their jewelry made.
Within the business sector employees are given a hand book, “Rules and Regulations Policy of the Business” which highlights the do’s and don’ts of the business such dress code, misconduct, arrival and departure, attendance as well as other guidelines to follow. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in the employee being warned verbally and written, suspended without pay, or dismissal depending on the nature of the offence.
A linkage industry is an industry which is associated or connected to other industries in such a way that the existence of one is dependent on the other, or it enhances the other’s production process. Producing jewellery the business will have to depend on the mining industry, while the local industry depend on the mining to provide jobs.
More linkages Linkages
Adamant’s foods plus will be engaged in the backward linkage:
Farmers <==== factories <===== Adamant’s foods plus
It provides increased employment and an improved standard of living
Adamant’s foods plus depend on the factories which depends on the primary sector of production to supply to them so they can supply to us.
