Principles of Training


  1. 1.    Specificity – training for your own particular sport.


  1. 2.    Progression – starting exercise slowly and gradually building up.


  1. 3.    Overload – you work harder than you would normally do.


  1. 4.    Reversibility – we eventually loose fitness if we stop training.


  1. 5.    Tedium – making training interesting to individual.
