Types of injuries

Injuries caused by a sudden stress on the body. For example, a violent collision during football. Such injuries a common in contact sports like rugby and football.

Injuries which develop through over use. Tennis players may suffer from tennis elbow runners from inflamed Achilles tendon. Overuse over use injury can be brought on by heavy training programmes, insufficient rest between events, poor technique, or body designed foot wear or equipment.
