Minerals are natural beings inerters, inorganic and homogeneous in their physical, chemical and structural .
Minerals can occur in two situations: state amorphous state and crystalline . Whether a mineral present in either state is due to the internal ordering of the atoms or molecules that form.

An amorphous mineral not present any sort between particles (atoms or molecules) that form.Opal, for example, a mineral consisting of oxygen, silicon and water. In the opal, these components are not ordered, so the opal is amorphous.
crystalline mineral particle has sorted the three spatial directions. This is the case with common salt or rock salt, formed by chloride ions and sodium.

Crystalline state Sometimes the internal structure of a mineral crystal is not manifested externally, due to the conditions in which the mineral is formed. However, a further analysis can reveal the internal structure of the mineral crystal.

Internal structure of the mineral . A crystal structure is a mineral ordered internal, bordered by flat faces, so that the mineral has defined geometric forms. Physical and chemical properties of the ore material . In the earth’s crust can be found all chemical elements that exist, but their proportions vary widely. The chemical elements which form the mineral can occur in the native state or as links of different types. The minerals have different physical properties (specific weight, cohesion, etc..) That facilitate differentiation.
